Sweet Magnolia`s Deli in Panama City

I used to love grabbing sandwiches here before heading out to the beach. However, over the last few months, the amount of meat and the quality of the meat has decreased. A little disappointing.

Great food and people

The food is great. Great options and the desserts are fantastic. This place is on our must visit list when we are here. We would go here weekly if we lived here year round.

What a hidden gem! I already can't wait to go back. The food was delicious, with wonderful options. The potato soup was incredible. The staff was friendly and the service excellent.

The desserts are phenomenal. The tray looks absolutely beautiful every time. But, over time there’s less and less meat in the sandwiches and the price doesn’t match for what you get. They aren’t anything special, just regular half of a turkey is $6.50 and a chicken salad sandwich is $10.99 (I believe .99 but not sure about the cents part). Neither have hardly anything in them. I used to love this place but it’s just gotten skimpier and skimpier with the ingredients. The chicken salad is great don’t get me wrong, but mine is good too and way cheaper to make and I’ll get a whole sandwich plus leftovers.

The owners are amazing and the cheesy potato soup is great.

Service very slow and the food expensive. I ordered a French dip, my wife had a chicken salad sandwich with tea the bill was near 40.00 bucks. The french dip had a very thin slice of beef and cheese had no taste. I will not return.

If you live in the area, you need to come here at least once. They make really good sandwiches, you can choose your type of bread, and choose from the following sides: pasta salad, potato salad, or chips. It is also served with a pickle spear. The jalepeno corn bread muffins are to die for. They aren't in the menu, but are written in a board on the wall. They also have really good soups, and desserts. They do not accept credit cards, but have an ATM in the restaurant.

Lemon squash soup

Food is always very good here. Under new management as of last Fall, but food quality is still very good. Just do not go here if in a hurry, you will usually need a good hour to hour and fifteen to get in and out.

Love this quaint locally owned spot in old downtown PC! Great tuna salad, amazing homemade desserts!!! Downhome service. A little slow checking out if they're busy, cash only!! One of my FAV spots to take visitors for a great Panama City experience.You can use a debit card here now!

Delicious and quick! Kids options were very limited, at least from what we saw. Adults loved all the different sandwiches though

The Cajun Roast Beef Sandwich was extremely delicious, even the rye bread was fall-apart fresh.

Great food as always. Tried the spinach Madeleine soup- delicious almost as good as the lemon squash soup.

Wonderful little comfy, cozy place. Food was excellent! Save room for dessert! The coconut cake was the best I've ever had!

Service was pleasant and efficient. I ordered Aujus dip. When I tasted the broth it was so salted that I felt it could brine my tongue. I mentioned to the staff about my experience. My dip was taken away and made right. The servicer brought my Aujus out and said she was so sorry. She had tried it too. I would go back again.

Didn't know that they has new owner. You couldn't tell. Everything was right up to par. Good job!!

Still one of the BEST places for lunch in Panama City. If you are looking for great taste, comfortable atmosphere, tempting desserts to share with friends, THIS is it. Trust me, once you've visited, you will return. Their potato soup is to die for if you aren't sure where to start...

Super awesome place!

Never even knew about this place until a coworker forced me to go there during lunch. I got the French dip sandwich and it was very good. The staff was friendly and attentive as well. I'd definitely go back.

HORRIBLE SERVICE ......... finally left after waiting an hour for sandwiches, and the server could have cared less.

A close friend showed me this place I had never been there before and I'm glad that she showed me they have an array of sandwiches it is a deli where their products run out first come first serve basis which means that you know it's fresh they also serve soups and a dessert tray at the end of your meal all-in-all I like the atmosphere The Rustic look up the kitchen that is open service was prompt food came out quick couples never empty definitely will return

Nice decor in a cute neighborhood with friendly staff. Desserts were very tempting and the salads a good size. Try the tomato and cucumber salad, it's really, really good.

Amazing deli food!

They have great food! My favorite is the teriyaki chicken sandwich and the pea picking cake! The soups are all good as well.
